Undoubtedly Danny Del Toro is one of the most reputed musicians of Madrid blues scene He is an harmonica player with an excellent bright technique and phrasing, besides having a good dose of vocal resources he really knows how to manage displaying them with a very good taste His credibility has gradually increased, consolidating himself as one of the values of national blues scene which has let him to be requested to back different international blues musicians In this recording entitled Drunk Karaoke, Danny walks with reliability and credibility for a custom made repertoire where he has included three own compositions and six covers coming from musicians like Kim Wilson, Hollywood Fats, Sonny Boy Williamson II, Little Walter, and Smiley Lewis, versions that have nothing to envy to the originals, showing his great talents as a first-class harmonica player And if that was not enough, Danny has been able to recruit a group of totally professional able musicians such as Daniel Karlsson on keyboards, Jan Sjöberg on guitar, Nicklas Dahlion on sax, Stefan Lindell on double bass and Jonathan Westling on drums Obviously all musicians give the perfect counterpoint and the real basis to let our man shine at a very high level
