It has been a pleasant surprise to discover this young woman who plays guitar and sings with an intense passion Her voice reminds me Rory Block and Bonnie Raitt Gifted with a huge talent, she began to play blues when she was only fourteen years old, after she saw a Sue Foley, Shemekia Copeland and Susan Tedeschi live show at Bishopstock Blues Festival in the United Kingdom These three women made her decide to start a musical career although she has previously listened different Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker and other blues legends records Year 2006 was a good year for Dani Wilde and her band, because she did shows at the Royal Albert Hall and at Vines Festival as piano player Jools Holland backing band and also sharing stage with Gary Moore This cd accomplishes her dream of signing a contract with Ruf Records, besides appearing in the Blues Caravan Tour line-up, together with Candye Kane and Deborah Coleman An excellent debut album of a new contemporary Brisith blues star, backed by a group of good musicians, where you will find her younger brother Will Wilde on harp (amazing tone and phrasing), Morg Morgan on piano and hammond, Mike Griot on bass, Denis Palatin on drums and, of course, Dani Wilde herself, on guitar and vocals too
