An eclectic album, soft, with a calm relaxed atmosphere, including ballads with a bluesy touch, is what you will find on singer and harmonica player Dan Kaplan second cd Bus Window is almost an instrumental album that includes eight songs, six Kaplan own compositions, plus one Parla Purnell’s song and another one signed by Ali Farka Toure Dan has a good harmonica technique but over all, a deep fat tone and a cool original sound which makes him different from other musicians, especially on the song Eighty Eight And Ten, a blues in minor key performed with a double harp The only negative remark would be that all tracks have a similar tempo which could make them a little bit monotonous for some listeners But generally speaking, it is a correct piece of work
