Florida Gulf Coast has given great musicians to rock and blues scene like The Outlaws, Dickey Betts or Tampa Red among many others. Singer, guitar player and songwriter Damon Fowler is one of them. He is now considered as one of the leading musicians of Americana roots music. Specialized media have compared his guitar technique as the one of Jeff Beck or Johnny Winter and his slide playing could easily remind the one of the late Duane Allman. He is also gifted with a broken raw voice, something that gives him a distinctive personality and a very special feeling, because his voice really fits to sing genuine roadhouse roots rock or houserockin’ blues. This is his eighth solo release where he has included eleven songs performed with honesty, maturity, commitment and good taste, which confirms he is one of the most outstanding musicians of Florida blues and roots scene. In short words, here comes an album with a variety of colorful sound palettes that will undoubtedly catch listeners eager to taste a good dose of interesting music.
