From Ontario, Canada, comes this band, which has specialized in garage blues focusing his style in developing their own songs with a very particular compact sound We might say Daddy Long Legs do not imitate or try to follow other similar bands or musicians They develop their own style and, in the last years, they have been working hard to get the favor and respect of the audience After hard times where they have struggled to get it, it seems that finally they have got a place in Canadian blues scene, especially after being finalists at Toronto Blues Society competition for new talents but especially after winning 2008 Maple Blues Award as best emerging artists and 2009 Canadian Independent Music Awards as a favorite band The group includes Mike Elliot guitar and vocals, Chris ‘Junior’ Malleck harmonica and backing vocals, Steve Toms bass, tambourine, kick drum and backing vocals and finally Jeff Wagner drums The album captures all the intensity and powerful sound of these musicians, who bring us the most actual raw blues
