As a living music that blues is, it has multiple facets and ways of influencing creators of other styles that practically have nothing to do with it. From France, Cyril Capelle is a good example of an artist who is completely out of the blues but, nevertheless, can give to his music a bluesy flavor that makes it attractive to music lovers who are willing to discover something different and original.

A music lover from a very young age, he was mentored by Françoise Hardy, which made him stand out and do his first recordings. Only aged 33 and when he was at the best moment of his career, Cyril suffered a brain aneurysm, falling into a coma, which obliged him to follow a long recovery period, but he has gradually come back to composition and performance. Fortunately, Cyril is now enjoying a successful career and has got an excellent reputation on the French music scene.

This album presents ten songs that move in what we could call the “French underground”. Intimate, dark, disturbing songs that, at the same time, communicate something special to make listeners immerse themselves in the very personal world Cyril Capelle proposes to us in this new recording.

Cyril Capelle is on vocals and acoustic guitars. He has also been supported by some other instrumentalists who help to create a new original atmosphere, totally different from what we are normally used to listening to.
