This last piece of work of singer and harmonica player Curtis Salgado follows the same path that his previous cds As usual Curtis shows is an excellent soul music performer But this does not mean we will only find soul music on the cd, because Curtis is an experienced gospel, blues and jazz musician too and tastefully performs all these musical styles with great maturity For that recording Salgado has invited some great guest musicians like Jimmie Vaughan, Lou Ann Burton or The Memphis Horns, who give an additional quality to the cd The result is an excellent proposal of an honest man who always gives a sincere performing And of course, Soul Activated is a very good example
