Gifted with a powerful intense voice, Crystal Shawanda is a very versatile singer who moves comfortably in styles like rock, Americana music, country or ballads, but always giving them a blues touch. To her, the blues is the beginning of everything and, from a very young age, she was attracted by the genuine and natural sincerity of blues music.

Despite her youth, Crystal has already established herself as one of the most attractive voices on actual music scene and her prestige is daily growing. Now she releases her eighth studio album, which has been produced by her husband and collaborator Dewayne Strobel, where she has included eight own compositions plus the versions of “Evil” coming from Howlin’ Wolf and “That’s Just The Woman in Me” by Céline Dion. She is surrounded by Dewayne Strobel on guitars, Dave Roe on bass, drummers Mark Becket, Pete Abbot and Louis Winfield, keyboard players Peter Keys and Jessie O’Brien and harmonica players Steve Marriner and Harpdog Brown, plus some backing vocals and the special collaboration of Sean Jones in one song.
