Here comes a very correct band, which perform what I personally call ‘bar blues’ With a pure 70’s English bluesy sound, The Cotton Gang develop long songs, between four and eight minutes, with well done guitar and harp solos, that go ‘now you, now me’ and ‘once again you, once again me’ The album was recorded live a year ago at Sala Clamores in Madrid and includes eleven songs, half of them written by band singer and guitar player Jonas Molina and harp player Danny del Toro, who also sings in two own cuts The other musicians are Paco Calvo bass and Daniel Montoya drums Both give the best rhythm support, they are the basic engine to make the soloists shine and sign with their solos and riffs the characteristic band style and sound Now Leon Cano has become a group member instead of Daniel Montoya who, for some important reasons, had to leave the band
