After twenty years of a non stop working touring over more then thirty countries, Connie Lush decided it was time to take a break to evaluate what she had been doing so far to give a new introspective change to her career and clearly focus her musical future Together with her husband, bass player Terry Harris, they added a couple of new musicians to the band and, during the summer of 2014, they worked writing songs to start with their new career The result is this last album which presents nine original songs plus a version of I Can’t Make You Love Me coming from Bonnie Raitt Besides Connie on vocals, the rest of the band members are Terry Harris on bass, Roy Martin on drums and percussion and Steve Wright on guitar A bunch of compositions that follow the tradition of Americana music with roots, with different arrangements that go from the very slightly pop to rock music, plus some close influences of rhythm and blues An interesting recording with more than a remarkable production and sound, where Connie pours out all the passion she is able to express through her attractive vocal qualities full of an intense but, at the same time, very natural feeling
