Singer, guitar player, songwriter and producer Colin Linden has a wide career of almost forty years. Things started when he was eleven years old and he could see a show and talk with legendary bluesman Howlin’ Wolf, something that made him decide he wanted to devote himself to music and blues. Since then on his name has not stopped to grow, with countless shows or playing often with many blues and rock stars like Bob Dylan, Emmylou Harris or T-Bone Burnett among others. Lucinda Williams has relied on him as her first artist for her new Highway 20 Records, by publishing this interesting recording. The idea of the album came to Colin Linden after he was requested for a television project that had to include Texas and Louisiana border music. Colin selected eighteen songs, but he also decided to work on the material to carry on a new album, where you will immediately see his personal way of combining blues, roots music and rock.
