After a successful three months tour during year 2015, where Colin James was backed by a really able band he felt very comfortable with and warmly surrounded, James decided the same musicians would play with him in his next recording project, that has recently been published The album was produced by Colin James and Dave Meszaros and recorded at The Warehouse Studios in Vancouver, Canada It includes a collection of some of Colin’s favourite songs, so this recording becomes a tribute to several of his idols and great heroes like Howlin’ Wolf, Jimmy Reed, Amos Milburn, Freddie King, Buddy Guy, Junior Wells, Robert Johnson, Jimmy Rogers, Memphis Slim, Blind Willie Johnson or Muddy Waters among others and also to the only white musician who deserves to be included among his influences, the great Peter Green, a true icon and a source of inspiration for many guitar player of 60’s and 70’s generation This terrific intense, powerful… or simply magnificent album was finished on practically one week and becomes an album that stands out over other ones for the quality, strength, passion and commitment all involved musicians put on it My advice is you should immediately get a copy You will not be disappointed
