Chicago singer, guitar player and composer Christian Collin brings us his last work, where he has gathered twelve own songs basically inspired by the most contemporary Chicago blues and Americana music To do so Christian Collin has surrounded himself by his usual musicians he has worked with for quite a long time, Alex Evans on bass and Chris Morrow on drums He has added a handful of great guest musicians who round up and give effective and excellent background to the whole recording, as Billy Branch and Matthew Skoller on harmonica, Johnny Iguana on piano and organ, Pete Galanis on slide guitar slide, Jen Williams on backing vocals and a powerful horn section led by sax player Rodney Brown that helps to create an intense, warm and wrapping atmosphere With all these elements Christian Collin has cleverly build up an exciting inspired music performed on a very professional and rigorous work where Collin himself shines at a very high level, not only as an amazing singer but also as an experienced tasteful and first class guitar player
