I can say this is first class material High quality blues, low down dirty blues, performed with an extreme good taste, elegance, passion and feeling only few exceptional musicians can do, as not only they live with the blues but also they have got the blues into the deepest part of their souls Singer and guitar player Chris James and bass player Patrick Rynn lead their own band, The Blue Tour, and have just recorded this good vintage blues cd firmly based on the music that used to play Chicago blues masters like Muddy Waters, Howlin’ Wolf, Elmore James, Snooky Pryor, among other unforgettable post-war musicians The cd includes different guest artists, such as Bob Corritore on harp, David Maxwell on piano or Sam Lay on drums Is there anyone of you who does not feel proud and happy to listen to such musicians like Chris and Patrick who perpetuate and dignify traditional blues as they always do? Good taste, feeling and talent come together along this excellent album all blues fans must take into account
