    Valoración: VERY GOOD

People who know well Chris Duarte say he is an electrifying guitar player The true thing is he is a very complete musician who takes very newly interesting bright registers from his guitar, including valuable subtle nuances which give to his playing an additional researching merit The cd was recorded in Oxford, Mississippi and is a good example of what Chris Duarte is able to do with a guitar on his hands Chris main influences are settled on deep but at the same time contemporary blues, quite close to Junior Kimbrough who he greatly admires For this cd Duarte is backed by John Jordan on bass and Ed Miles on drums All them give shape to the ten cd songs, eight own compositions, one from Junior Kimbrough and a Bob Dylan’s version Deep garage and experimental blues, specially devoted to daring innovative people
