What a collection of songs gathered in this new album by The Kings’ leader, Chris Daniels! The songs included on the cd belong to different recording sessions this singer, guitar player and song writer has done along the last twenty five years The musicians who have contributed on the tracks chosen for the cd belong to the most qualified names of the last forty years american-roots-music Sonny Landreth, (John Hiatt, Eric Clapton…),, Bill Payne (Little Feat), Steve Conn (Bonnie Raitt, Kenny Logias…), Benmont Tench (Tom Pett)… there would be an endless list if I should mention all musicians included on all these recordings, but you can easily imagine the huge quality you will find along this faultless Stealin’ The Covers Chris Daniels music has been defined with sentences like similar to Little Feet including a horn section or Louis Jordan meets John Hiatt What I can say is the album will certainly satisfy those of you who get a copy Sixteen magnificent songs, with more than sixty-three minutes of high quality music
