When singer and guitar player Chris Daniels was required to perform a virtual concert to raise funds for the health care underprivileged people of Denver, Colorado, he didn’t think twice and put himself at the complete organizers disposal. There were two online sessions that took place in the middle of the damned pandemic, where Daniels shared leadership with Hazel Miller on vocals and Dana Marsh on keyboards. The trio was backed by a good number of highly professional musicians. From these virtual concerts comes this album with ten really varied songs, as becomes evident since the moment you listen to the opening song “Takin’ It To The Streets” coming from The Doobie Brothers, followed with “Born Under A Bad Sign” by Albert King to go to “I’m Still Lookin”‘ by Buena Vista Social Club or “Cut You Believe” by Al Jarreau and even Fred Astaire’s classic “Cheek To Cheek”, besides the popular song “You’ve Got a Friend” by James Taylor, without forgetting the famous “What A Wonderful World” by Louis Armstrong, coming to the blues with “Down Home Blues” by ZZ Hill and in this way to the end of the album. As you can easily imagine, this is a cd recorded with an outstanding elegance including a kind varied repertoire that is worth listening to relax and also contribute to a good cause.
