Curiously this singer and guitar player did not find his first inspirtation in blues but he did it in flamenco music At a very young age Chris became interested in flamenco guitar by listening to artists like Manitas de Plata When he was fourteen years old, he introduced himself into the blues, as he went often to the famous London jazz club, Ronnie Scotts, where he enjoyed sharing stage with John Mayall, John McVie and George Melly Chris Dair has a wide experience because, over the years, he has played in many jams with Rory Gallagher, Jimmy Paige, Ginger Baker, Paul Kossof, Captain Beefheart, Dick Stubbs (Juicy Lucy), Linda Lewis (Ferris Wheel), Dave Davies (The Kinks), Roy Wood (Wizard), Mickey Finn (T Rex), Mark Knopfler, Led Zeppelin, Peter Green and Jeff Beck among others This album clearly shows his influences are eclectic, because in his style there can be found details, ideas, sounds, phrases and riffs of Jimi Hendrix, Frank Zappa and John McLaughlin
