Born in New York but raised in Somerville, Massachusetss, Chris Bergson came back to Manhattan in 1995 and he settled there Since then on he has been involved with rhythm and blues, rock, jazz and folk styles Chris is gifted with a natural talent for music and this album is a clear example of it At the beginning of his career, Bergson had also given his guitar to the service of some jazz singers like Annie Ross, Dena DeRose, Sasha Dobson and Norah Jones and he also recorded a couple of albums entitled Blues For Some Friends Of Mine and Wait For Spring This new album includes six original own songs, plus four ‘covers’ of Robert Johnson / Elmore James (Dust My Broom), Bob Dylan, Willie Dixon and John Henry Barbee The cd is a pure delight for all people with a minimum sensitivity, because it is performed with an special elegance and exquisite good taste
