Another amazing work, this time on acoustic format by Spanish musicians, to be right, three Spanish ones and two Argentinian, now settled in Barcelona This album is the result of a reunion of passionate blues, rock and roll, vaudeville and western swing lovers, coming from different bands who have met with one single reason, to feel and passionately play the music they love, with their own personal vision and musical language Fourteen cool sincere songs, where the real genuine soul can be found from the beginning to the end together with an skilful emotional playing Hernán ‘Chino’ Senra firmly leads and controls the whole project with a steady hand, besides writing some tunes, doing the lead singing and playing Resonator guitar and ukulele in Wang Wang Blues, Blind Willie McTell ‘s Warm It Up To Me and Crazy Arms Rod Deville is on bass and vocals in Warm It Up To Me, Crazy Arms and Louis Prima’s Banana Split For My Baby Victor Puertas (perhaps one of the five best blues harmonica players in Spain) is on harmonica in Warm It Up To Me, Little Red Rooster and Junior Parker’s I Feel Alright Again Marti Elias plays ‘snare drum’ in Warm It Up To Me, 120 (a Hernán ‘Chino’ Senra’ own song), I Feel Alright Again and Banana Splitz For My Baby, -where he also sings- and finally there is the excellent contribution of young pianist Bernat Font In short words, an excellent album to be heard one and a thousand times
