I dare say singer and guitar player Chaz DePaolo now shines at very high level Certainly he will satisfy all your expectations, especially after he appeared in 2006 New York Hendrix Tribute lineup, where he played with Buddy Miles, Harvey Brooks and Jose Feliciano In this fourth album Chaz brings us and develops a consistent well twisted speech with great skills and talent, based on blues, swing and jazz-blues, with a good dose of groove His high class good taste is clearly reflected, not only along the six original compositions included, but also in the three additional ‘covers·, especially in Albert King’s Down So Long and Roscoe Gordon’s No More Doggin’ Chaz is backed by a number of able musicians who deeply participate and support the leader’s work with sax, piano, B-3, bass, drums and even you can enjoy Jason Ricci’s harmonica playing in DePaolo’s own instrumental song called Slidealecica that closes the album
