Charlie Musselwhite is a man who was born to play blues Despite all the years he has spent into music business, he still feels passion for his work, as blues was a new discovery for him Charlie deeply loves blues and his life is nothing but pure and warm blues In this new work, Charlie Musselwhite gives us thirteen own pearls that do not have any waste I do not know if he again uses Astatic, Green Bullet or amny other similar mics, but the amplified sound he gets is totally amazing, fantastic and, last but not least, he is sublime in his phrasing and sound exposure, as I have not heard him for a long time The musicians who back him are fine and tasteful, so the result is a brilliant powerful well built record You will find Charlie Musselwhite harmonica, vocals and guitar in one song, Dave Gonzales on guitar, John Bazz on bass and double bass and Stephen Hodges drums together with the special collaboration of Mavis Staples, singing a duet with Charlie in Sad And Beautiful World Great job!
