For this new album, singer and harmonica player Charlie Barath’s aim was to build an amalgam of varied different styles of American roots music, ranging from the most acoustic Appalachian country to old time music and even some Western swing.

The seventeen songs that round up the album are a good example of his versatility, not only in the composition field but also as a singer and harmonica player, he plays with an accurate precision and a natural gift. Thanks to this small instrument Charlie discovered the beauty of blues, something that was decisive to make him to fully devote to music and helped him to decide to open his repertoire to different styles, always framed in traditional American music.

According to the nature and demands of each song included in the cd, Charlie selected the musicians who best suited in each one, so the list of musicians who have participated is extensive and it would be too long to mention them all.
