Settled in southern California since 2014, Brazilian guitar player Celso Salim presents his first recorded album in United States, also with a new band, where he has incorporated a new kind of blues, full of expressive and interpretative strength, without forgetting blues roots, adding a touch of soul, country, Americana, rock and even a few drops of jazz Eight original songs plus a version of the traditional gospel song, In My Time Of Dying give shape to this new recording, where you will be able to discover Brazilian singer Rafael Cury, Celso Salim on guitars, dobro and vocals, Dave Fraser on piano and keyboards, Mike Hightower on bass and Lynn Coulter on drums You will also find some guests like Darryl Carriere on harmonica (bright in his phrasing and amazing in the approaching), Mo Beeks on Hammond B-3 and Minque Taylos on backing vocals Although he is a reputed musician in Brazil, it has not been until he moved to California when Celso Salim started to get a name in the blues circles and circuit of clubs, cafes and other venues in the state whose capital is Los Angeles as well as at an international level
