Singer, guitar player and composer Cécile Doo-Kingué is an original and very special case in Canadian rock and blues scene, if we can define Cécile’s music as blues At the beginning of 2015 she published a solo acoustic album entitled Anybody Listening Part 1: Monologues that surprisingly got a great popularity and was nominated for the prestigious Maple Blues Awards, the most important blues awards in Canada Encouraged by the album success now she publishes a second part entitled Anybody Listening Part 2: Dialogues where she has counted with the collaboration of some good friends and musicians The album follows the traces of her previous one, especially in the deep vindicatory significance of her lyrics with topics that move among social aspects, religious fanaticism or even life beauty she sings despite the misfortunes of actual world This new album opens the doors to a cooler uninhibited music than was included in her previous one, which makes it become a more complete recording
