A delicious album, where Cattfish Keitgh sounds really inspired in every of the thirteen tracks included on it. As usual, the cd is a pleasant walk along the Afroamerican music roots. Keith brings a bunch of precious gems, from Skip James to Sister Rosetta Tharpe, Leadbelly, Robert Wilkins or Blind Willie Johnson, together with other original Catfish Keith own jewels. For recording this cd, he has used a great variety of guitars, he practically employs a different one in every song. Only mention some of them, such as a National Reso-Phonic, a Radio Tone National, a Baritone Tricone National, a Bottleneck Baritone Tricone, a Little Revell Parlor, a Delphi one…. It is a great album that does justice to the amazing quality of this musician who represents the most pure archaic southern blues tradition.
