Catfish Keith publishes the album number seventeen in his career This time he has decided to do a compilation of sixteen tracks covering his entire career, songs that were already published in some of his previous recordings since he began his career in 1985 and released his first album for Kicking Mule Records Most of the songs, if not all, that round up the album, deal with the drugs world and are old blues blues written during last century twenties and thirties that became popular performed by musicians like Cab Calloway, Jazz Gillum, Bea Foote, Jack Teagarden, Lil’ Green or Trixie Smith You will also find some own compositions that perfectly match with the musical line and the specific subject the album is devoted, not in vain Catfish Keith is an expert of pre-war blues and a good performer of that particular style Catfish guitar and voice are enough to introduce listeners into the wrapping old blues songs and drive them to the dark disturbing drugs world of those years This is an album that will not disappoint anyone that probably will get hooked like if they were smoking a reefer cigar
