Two musicians who really love their work like Cassie Keenum and Rick Reed have decided to put in common their musical knowledge and give shape to this project in a musical context that is reflected in this album where acoustic folk blues, roots music and other suggestive melodies prevail, displayed in a consistent and clever way Cassie grew up in a family of deep religious convictions as her father was a Baptist church preacher, but her rebel independent personality made her to skip the conventional rules of her community and devote her time to go to dark bars and clubs where the blues could be heard all night long On the other hand Rick discovered the blues in the 70’, following artist like Eric Clapton and other rock-blues pioneers The voice and acoustic guitar of Cassie Keenum easily combine with the nuances of Rick’s acoustic, electric and slap guitar The duo has also counted with the collaboration of Nicole Wagner on bass, Rusty Valentine on drums, Little Mike on harmonica in a couple of songs and Mitch Rogers on keyboards in another cut
