Cash McCall was a singer, guitar player and songwriter who started his music career in gospel to later on move to soul and blues He worked with great musicians such as The Five Blind Boys Of Mississippi, Etta James and Willie Dixon Afterwards he began a fruitful career that ended in 2019 when he unfortunately passed away due to cancer His guitar player and good friend Jim Koeppel has now published in CD format two impressive songs recorded with an amazing cleverness and professionalism to pay homage to this great artist and keep his memory alive among fans and specialized media Both songs are perfectly performed by a five-stars band where Cash McCall is on vocals and rhythm guitar, Jim Koeppel on lead guitar, Rajiv Halim on tenor sax, Tennyson Stephens on piano, John Christy on Hammond B-3, Welton Gite on bass and James Gadson on drums Although you will only find two songs, they are enough to appreciate their superb quality which will make you to listen to them again and again
