Although Mark Carnes and Jeff Shew duo was formed in year 2018, both musicians have a long experience in music Since the 70’s Mark Carnes has been playing and traveling from north to south and east to west of United States with a variety of musical formations On the other hand and for more than twenty five years, Jeff Shew has performed along the Illinois state and especially in Chicago A couple of years ago these two musicians decided to form this duo with an instrumentation that includes double bass, harmonica, guitar and vocals Both musicians reveal themselves as excellent story tellers who know how to share daily life problems and events, always in a simple honest and effective way For this first recording they have selected seven songs that show the variety of possibilities and ways this new duo will be able to walk along in the next future
