Singer, bass, flute and guitar player Carlos Elliot Jr knows very well the field where he easily and calmly moves Carlos shows a music style that comes very close to hill country blues he has always felt very attracted to Hill Country is a festive, cheerful, hypnotic, euphoric music which a terrific rhythm, which is played at North Mississippi area Elliot lived for some time in that area and he was able to know, learn and play in old run-down juke-joints, soaking and hardening himself in the deepest roots of this so peculiar style known as Hill Country Mystic Juke Joint Blues presents nine Elliot Jr’s own cuts, where he sings and plays guitar, always backed by The Cornlickers, a good supporting group with Dale Wise on drums, Tony Rider on bass and guitar players Dave Groninger and Bobby Gentilo This is an album that clearly shows all musicians highly motivation, as well as their complete understanding about what was expected from them
