After seven long years without releasing an album, now singer, guitarist and composer Carlos Childe comes back with his mixture of roots music and Americana With his vocal hangover very close to Tom Waits one, Carlos gives us an intimate but, at the same time, sharp and strong album, where he give free rein to all his storyteller skills Nine own songs, where he reinvents himself again with pop swampy rhythms, where he shows his deep respect and passion for southern music, particularly Louisiana style, Motown sound and the influences of some of his musical heroes like Nick Cave With all these ingredients Carlos builds up a series of ghostly hypnotic and restrained rhythms that will catch every listener from the first notes of the opening song Devil’s On The Sidewalk to Almost Crazy that closes the album The musicians included are Carlos Childe guitar, harmonica and vocals, Fernando Lamas drums, Fran Sanz bass, Gaston Rodriguez guitar and keyboards and finally Miriam Ledesma backing vocals in some specific passages
