    Valoración: VERY GOOD

Good guitar player, song writer and effective singer (with a tone that reminds me actual Bob Dylan’s voice), Carlos Childe delights us with his first recording, where he has included a bunch of songs connected to Texas blues and jazz tradition, all them spiced with a lot of swing and groove He has also selected some old traditional songs such as his passionate particular version of The House Of The Rising Sun that perfectly combine with the eight own compositions that present very contemporary well conceived arrangements Twelve interesting tasteful tracks that deserve good qualifications and show an excellent future outlook for Carlos Childe The musicians who back him are all very professional ones and give character and knowledge to the whole recording An special mention to Luis and Juan Tinaquero brothers on guitar, banjo, dobro, mandoline and acoustic bass and Victor Sánchez on saxos and clarinet who also gives an amazing performing
