Definitely zydeco music is a tremendous display of joy and pleasure for the senses and Buckwheat Zydeco is nowadays one of the great masters who make people feel and roll with the energy and swingin’ spirit of this kind of music His style is a clever combination of alternative zydeco with a contemporary touch and a mixture of ‘bayou-blues’ and ‘swamp-boogie’ which gives a really surprinsing and daring result Hot dancing music full of the Louisiana atmosphere, along the eleven songs included, that come from different musicians, since Stanley ‘Buckwheat’ Dural own songs to other ones signed by JJ Grey, Bruce Springsteen or Joe McCoy among others, all them with the excellent arrangements of Stanley himself and his musicians who are, Buckwheat Zydeco on accordion, synthesizers, Hammond B-3 and vocals, Lee Allen Zeno, bass and vocals, Sir Reginald Master Dural on rubbboard and vocals, Kevin Menard, drums, Olivier Scoazec, Michael Melchione, Warren Haynes and Sonny Landreth on trombones and Steve Berlin on saxo baritone and final cd production An excellent album to rise up the mood of all listeners who feel a little bit depressed
