Harmonica player and singer Bruce Ewan comes from Washington. He began to play blues in the mid-seventies with guitar player and singer Bobby Radcliff. Along his wide career he has met and shared stage with such great artist like Junior Wells, who deeply influenced him, but also with John Lee Hooker, Albert Collins, Bobby Blue Bland, Buddy Guy, Carey Bell, Sunnyland Slim or Mighty Joe Young among many others. Bruce has developed Chicago most genuine harmonica players style, both with chromatic and diatonic harmonica, so he is now considered as one of the outstanding followers of this kind of blues.

All over the years he has done extensive long tours around South America and he has visited Spain as well. In those tours he discovered Latin music and from there came the idea to combine some Latin rhythms with blues. The result can be found is this album entitled “Bluesero” where, besides performing real Chicago blues, Bruce tastefully and cleverly mixes elements of jazz and Latin music coming from styles like Afro-Cuban music, tango, bossa nova or samba, always with an undeniable quality and cleverness.

Twelve songs give shape to this original album, masterfully performed by this more than interesting musician called Bruce Ewan, backed by a good number of totally professional musicians who contribute to give strength and reliability to a highly recommended album. GREAT.
