Here comes a new band called Born Healer, built and formed around the musical tastes of her singer and leader, the beautiful woman Helen Turner, who is surrounded by a correct group of musicians like Iain Black on guitar, Marek Funkas on bass and Andy Jones on drums The rock blues style they do is heir of Led Zeppelin and other seventies similar bands but with a less calling and not so impressive sound Anyway this is a paradigmatic album in the actual British underground scene Undoubtedly we are facing a new group of the so-called cult bands which present a style rich in nuances and textures that capture the attention of listeners with a mixture of seventies rock blues with influences of Robert Plant, Janis Joplin, Dr Feelgood or even some references to Van Morrison This is an interesting attractive album for different reasons where the group quality and originality prevail over the small mistakes it may have
