Coming from Madrid area, The Boo Boo Weavils emerge with an overwhelming force in the Spanish blues scene, thanks to their knowledge of the good musicians who form the band Alba Castillo on vocals brings a good dose of strength and energy, while Francisco Javier Gonzalo on guitar and Chema Contreras on bass show the experience they have gathered along eight intense years in The Forty Nighters band They are joined by multi-instrumentalist Benito Diaz on drums, who always gives the real beat and groove to produce a compact sound in every cd song, providing strength and intensity to the group, but also playing other instruments, as acoustic guitar in the song Deadlines, harmonica, acoustic guitar and bass in It Ain’t Me Babe and all the instruments in Getting Colder The recording includes nine songs, six own compositions and three versions, Voodoo Woman coming from Koko Taylor, Nutbush City Limits a hit by Ike & Tina Turner and It Ain’t Me, Babe, by Bob Dylan All songs move along greasy blues, primitive soul and original rock and roll which, in fact, are the styles they most like and feel really comfortable with
