Here comes the last work of great singer, harmonica player, entertainer, showman and lyricist Bobby Rush, I dare say will not leave anyone indifferent This is an exciting album full of an expressive strength and colourful bright arrangements Horns exploit with a precise energy in the opening song I Don’t Want Nobody that communicates an incredible wrapping hypnotic rhythm and a lush sound Bobby experiences and investigates with different sounds and arrangements ranging from soul to blues or disco music and he does it with great skill and an exquisite taste, showing a total inspiration both with the arrangements that have been included in the twelve album songs, but also with his personal way of blowing harmonica that sounds powerful and balanced every time he includes it along the recording His voice, delivery and commitment is really amazing and in the slow blues Got Me Accused, Bobby Rush shows the rawness and passionate intensity he is able to communicate when he feels the blues deep inside his heart Many excellent musicians have been involved in the recording, as well as three great guest musicians like Joe Bonamassa, Vasti Jackson and Keb’ Mo’, each one in one song, who give a plus of commercial interest to this superb new album by the incredible Bobby Rush, a musician to keep always in mind, because he never disappoints the audience
