We are facing a real entertainer, a showman who has a complete stage control and a tremendous knowledge of the huge soul-blues-r&b world This can be immediately realized on his extremely powerful and brilliant performing His music takes the roots of the artists who have greatly influenced him, such as Elmore James, BB King, Muddy Waters or Louis Jordan (Bobby says Louis has been his inspiration in some lyrics of his songs), Johnnie Taylor, Little Walter (Bobby also says he learned everything about harmonica from Little Walter) or Ray Charles who taught him to be a good ‘entertainer’ In this cd Bobby gives all his particular personal style, mixing up blues-funk-folk with pop-soul and some drops of ‘Philadelphia’ sound As it could not be otherwise, the result is a compact well done record
