Guitar player and one of the fundamental members of Muddy Waters Band during most of the seventies, Mr Bob Margolin is a living legend who, since many decades till now, has been and is still active Margolin has always kept alive the memory and the spirit, not only of Muddy but also of yesterday, today and forever most genuine blues, although it should also be pointed that in recent years, he has also included in his repertoire some own compositions where he wants to reflect his concerns, his challenges, his vision of today’s society, his history and his future In this recording Margolin sings and plays all the instruments focussed in his music technique and his blues knowledge The album gathers fifteen songs, six of them own ones, where he lets us know his most intimate and personal facet, sharing with listeners his more secret concerns displayed in a totally natural way The other songs are covers coming from Bob Dylan to James Cotton, Muddy Waters, Leroy Carr, Jimmy Rogers, Johnny Winter, Pinetop Perkins or Snooky Pryor The album is a real exercise of a restrained honest performing that will immediately catch listeners, thanks to the sincere concern than can be found in every song
