New Jersey guitar player and singer Bob Lanza comes now with his fifth recording To do so he has counted with the valuable collaboration of reputed producer and guitar player Anthony Krizan, who also plays guitar in the album Both are good friends but they had never thought to work together But, after meeting in a jam session to raise funds for The Jersey Shore Jazz & Blues Foundation and realize the chemistry that immediately arose between them, they decided to get to work and give shape to this excellent project, counting with the valuable collaboration of John Ginty on piano and Hammond B-3, Dave Lockhart on bass and Vin Mott on drums and harmonica The recording cleverly mixes own songs with some versions and it also includes a moving tribute to great harmonica player James Cotton Eleven songs of the most genuine but, at the same time, progressive blues, performed following the path of seventies blues, always with the passion, eagerness and feeling of a group of musicians who move among the songs with an extraordinary knowledge of genre and, in addition, let us feel their respect, devotion and deep love for the blues
