Bob Corritore’s archive is really impressive, full of great and fantastic blues recordings he has gathered over the years, that he gradually publishes in the “From The Vaults” series, for delight of all blues lovers.

Now it’s the turn of an album where Bob backs on harmonica some amazing blueswomen he has shared stage with, he recorded in studio from 2001 to 2022, all them singers who come from different fields and geographical locations. They are Barbara Lynn, Carol Fran, Valerie June, Koko Taylor, Shy Perry, Diunna Greenleaf, Aliya Primer and Francine Reed.

Along the twelve songs that round up the album, Bob has adapted his style to every singer peculiar personality, vocal characteristics and stylistic textures, counting with an impressive roster of different musicians for each of the sessions, who really know and love not only Chicago traditional blues but also other blues fields and styles like Bob Margolin, John Primer, Kid Ramos, Jimi “Primetime” Smith, Fred Kaplan, Anthony Geraci, Bob Stroger, Mookie Brill, Willie “Big Eyes” Smith, Chico Chism or Doug James among others.
