Gratifying genuine band formed in 1999 by some friends with similar musical tastes Basically their style is based on the old twenties jug blues, old-time, country, blues grass and jazz bands and all pre-war Memphis music They felt very happy and honoured when in 2001 they had the opportunity to travel to play in that city where they had a great success and received very good reviews They are eight musicians who especially play those old jug bands instruments such as mandolin, kazoo, lap-style guitar, violin, banjo… As you can easily imagine they are a genuine band who faithfully perform the original sound of that particular geographical area at the begining of the twentieth century They play traditional Sleepy John Estes`, Memphis Jug Band or Blind Willie McTell’s songs among others This cd will be a precious present for your ears and your blues collection
