Finnish band with Matti Loppela on guitar, Pekka Pukkinen on vocals and harp, Markku Perälä on piano and organ, Mikka Kivimäki on acoustic and electric bass and Jari Kormimäki on drums These musicians founded the band in 1992 and since then on, they have continuously been playing around northern Europe Their musical influences can be found on bluesmen like Otis Rush, Albert and Freddie King, Magic Sam, Walter Horton or Otis Spann and their sound is an European version and mixture of Hollywood Fats Band and the original Fabulous Thunderbirds The cd was recorded with no ‘overdubs’ or ‘gimmicks’ and includes thirteen covers, some of them quite dark unknown ones, such as Jimmy McCracklin’s Every Night And Every Day, Milton Campbell’s I Found A New Love or Eddie Boyd’s The Big Boat If you enjoy West Coast sound, the cd will probably satisfy your musical tastes
