After several years of playing live at countless Ibiza and Formentera hotels, bars, clubs and venues, as well as in the rest of Baleares islands, the band Bluesmafia i Es Saligardos have decided to publish this album to share some of their material and, in this way, introduce his work to the rest of Spanish audience The album gathers eleven own compositions sung in Ibiza language, and also presents the group new female voice, Montse Llaràs, former lead singer of Catalan rock band Bars Along the years they have consolidated themselves as an eight musician combo which main goal is to please audiences with a repertoire based on swing, jive, jump blues, boogie, jazz or even rock and roll All songs are developed following the path of those dancing orchestras which often liven up most of Catalan villages fairs or annual celebrations, with influences coming from La Trinca, Guillermina Motta or Nuria Feliu, influences that will be immediately noticed in the band sound and the special stamp they give to their performing, which main goal is to build up a funny repertoire where the sense of humour prevails to give pleasure and joy to a wide range of listeners All band members are professional musicians and have gathered a wide musical experience, so quality is fully guaranteed They sound totally teamed and the arrangements are really tasteful, effective and colourful
