Bluesapalooza was a benefit show done to gather money to fight against cancer It was organized by a well-known blues fan called Mark De Forrest The idea received the support of the whole blues community of the area The show took place at the Bogart’s Palace in App Valley, Minnesota, in October the 29th 2000 and some of the best blues bands of the state contributed to its success What you will find on this cd is a real live recorded document of what happened this particular day An album with twelve excellent grooves of real Americana and traditional roots music, performed by different amazing Minnesota bands Some of the names gathered on this recording are Joe Juliano, The Keller Brothers, The Hillibilly Voodoo Dolls, Big Walter Smith & The Groove Merchants, The Soulmates or Lamont Cranston I dare suggest you to cooperate in the fight against cancer and ask for a cd copy to Cold Wind Records
