20 Oct Blues party to celebrate the 20th. Anniversary of Barcelona Blues Society
On Saturday 18 October took place a blues party organized by Barcelona Blues Society to celebrate its 20 years, with an emotional act that was joined by many Barcelona Blues Society members who came to the party to celebrate such an important date.

The event took place at Aula de Cultura Collblanc-La Torrassa, thanks to the facilities of its director Andrés Luque.
The event started with a video projecton, made up by Joan Ventosa with a series of photographs that collected different images as a short summary of what the Barcelona Blues Society has done during its 20 years of life. The video can be viewed at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YnYJ2e1cRvs
Coming directly from Chicago for a unique and exclusive show for the Barcelona Blues Society, Nick Moss performed an electrifying show of the most actual Chicago blues, where it became evident his mastery as a guitar player and singer, perfectly backed by the Barcelona Blues Sopciety combo, especially assembled for that particular night with Balta Bordoy on guitar, Oriol Fontanals on double bass and electric bass and Olivier Rocque on drums. plus Mike Shannon as a special guest on harmonica, who received a special tribute as he was the person who twenty years ago came with the idea of forming the Barcelona Blues Society. Almost two hours of an intense concert where Nick Moss showed his unbelievable quality on guitar, delighting the audience who enjoyed an incredible show. In this link you can see one of the songs from their performance:
The night ended with a sweet surprise: a big delicious birthday cake that was distributed and savoured by all the audience to celebrate together the 20 years of the Barcelona Blues Society. Congratulations for these two decades of tireless work in favor of the blues and our wish is that we can celebrate much more anniversaries together.
