An Extremely correct band with blues and related music influences The Blues Noir know how to tastefully mix what in blues jargon is called ‘West Texas shuffle’, ‘raw Chicago blues’ and ‘New Orleans groove’ performed on an exciting solid but at the same time, refreshing way The majority of the songs included on the cd are singer and guitar player Peter Corrigan own compositions Peter Corrigan and Paul Brisco (the second band guitar) perfectly know the whole blues language as a musical genre, as well as ‘slide’ guitar playing both alternatively perform That gives a special flavour to the whole band’s sound Matt Zlotnick on bass and John Nichols on drums give a perfect rhythm backing too
