Very popular band among fans of Florida blues scene, The Blues Dragon have been struggling for more than ten years in the music business This is their first piece of work on a recording studio and I am sure it will not be the last one Twelve electrifying cool tracks, with an special own personality, different from what we are used to listen to, as they skilfully combine with good taste Chicago urban blues with folk, soul, Americana and other genuine contemporary sounds And if we add careful lyrics that tell us about the history of the land, the life of musicians and common street people daily life stories, the result can be nothing more than really satisfying The band members are Mark Telasco on vocals, acoustic and electric bass, Mike Big Dog Hundley on electric guitar, Tony ‘The Reverend’ Monaco, on Hammond B-3 and piano, John Boyle on harmonica, alto sax and flute, Fred Weng on drums, percussion and trumpet and finally Rico Geragi on congas, bongos and Roland-V drums If you love new eclectic blues, this album will be perfect to satisfy your expectations
