We really welcome a new duo which has just appeared in 2017 into the Spanish blues music scene Formed in Lleida, the duo includes Eduard Escaño on guitar and vocals and Josep Berenguel on harmonica and vocals The first one has hardened himself playing for many years in clubs and bars along Catalonia area and, little by little, he has come to explore the blues roads, which has led him to develop a personal style on guitar On the other hand, Josep Berenguel is an harmonica passionate and has developed his music career in Australia, especially in Sydney, where he has performed during the past five years, playing on various blues bands of that distant country The connection between both musicians is evident in this first album that includes seven songs, which were recorded in only six months, five of them sung in Spanish and Catalan plus two instrumentals Listening to their songs, you will immediately appreciate that both musicians provide a good dose of fresh air to their music, developing a personal style, deeply based in American music, funk and especially blues
